Top visits

Cité des Sciences (Science City)

The largest science museum in Europe, the Science City is packed with exhibits exploring man’s experiences with science and maths. Students can explore the varied and interactive exhibitions in Explora to discover more about themes such as light, sounds, genes and movement. Watch daily demonstrations and explore the universe with the planetarium, presented by astronomy specialists.

The museum also has a hands-on maths exhibition which includes a special section on the geometry of shapes, transformation of geometry and Euclidean geometry, in addition to new theories of mathematics. Download the dedicated maths resources from the Cité des Sciences website to enhance your tour.

Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle

Housing the Hall of Evolution, the gallery of paleontology (dinosaurs, giant birds and insects) and the gallery of mineralogy, where more than 600,000 minerals, giant crystals and royal precious stones can be seen.

Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace

At the oldest aeronautics museum in the world, students have the opportunity to discover the principles of flight in air and space and the technology behind it through interactive exhibits.

Marie Curie Muséum

This museum pays homage to the great French physicist, who discovered radioactivity, and her entire family - two generations of which won the Nobel Prize.

Palais de la Découverte (Palace of Discovery)

The Palace of Discovery is an ideal visit for science and maths groups. Here, your students will learn by participating in experiments led by the scientists, exploring scientific laws, including electrostatics, radioactivity, and chemistry. There are separate rooms devoted to astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology and medicine in which your group can carry out experiments for themselves!

Maths also occupies a prominent place in this highly-regarded science museum which holds three galleries focusing on polyhedra and mathematics in nature; the Pi Room, the Mathematical Surfaces Collection, and the Mathematics Room.

Disneyland® Paris

Both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park provide a great environment for your students to work together, bond as a class and challenge their personal boundaries on a Disneyland Paris school trip.

Disneyland® Park 
Explore five themed lands filled with Disney classic stories: adrenalin packed thrill rides such as Big Thunder Mountain, Disney classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and many opportunities to meet your favourite Disney characters. 

Walt Disney Studios® Park
Step through the Studio gates and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of movies, animation and television. Find out how Disney creates the magic and feel what it’s like to be star of stage and screen.

Seine River Boat Cruise

An enjoyable river cruise is a relaxing way to see the sights of Paris. Students also learn from the French (or English) commentary on their headsets.

Montmartre & Sacré Coeur

Montmartre provides an opportunity for students to practise their language skills with its many street stalls and street artists, shops and cafés. Once a meeting place for artists in the late 19th and early 20th century, your group can also view artists painting portraits and caricatures for the tourists and enjoy a spectacular view of Paris from the steps of the Sacré Coeur.

Le Stade de France

Take your students behind-the-scenes of France’s premier stadium. Take a tour, in French or English, of the players’ tunnel, changing rooms, security facilities, pitch and photo museum. 

Centre Pompidou

A must for students, the dramatic architecture of the museum holds a unique collection of 20th century art covering the principal movements. Study services include gallery tours and audio guided tours.

Paris Montparnasse – Top of the City

This 196m tower has shorter queues than the Eiffel Tower and a fabulous view of Paris. The viewpoint tables clearly mark the city’s many famous monuments. There are also a number of audio-visual and interactive facilities to help build language skills and enhance their knowledge of Paris, as well as downloadable quizzes in English and French. 

Fragonard Perfumery

Take a free guided tour in your choice of French or English and visit the museum and shop where you’ll find a wide range of fragrant products.

Eiffel Tower

Paris’ best-known monument has outstanding city views, which on a clear day can stretch for 42 miles, giving the chance to pinpoint many landmarks. 

Guided Tour of Paris

A tailor-made coach tour of Paris that includes a dedicated French or English-speaking guide, who will help with pronunciation and knowledge of the many sights of Paris. One of our groups’ favourites is the evening tour of the Paris Illuminations. We can arrange walking tours too. 

Louvre Museum

Probably the most famous museum in the world and home to some of the finest collections of antiquities, sculpture and art. It is the ideal place for students to see the prominent role that art plays in French culture. The museum is also home to cafés and shops where students can practise language skills too. 

Musée Gourmand du Chocolat - Choco Story

Discover chocolate’s 4,000 years of history, and modern methods of making it too, then try some of the delicious products.

Parc Astérix

This typically French theme park is home to over 30 outside attractions, all based around the famous Astérix comic-strips. Parc Astérix is especially well known for its large variety of roller coasters, and incorporates rides and themes from historic ancient cultures such as the Romans and the Gauls. 

Parc Astérix also offers live shows and entertainment, animated figures, arts and crafts, reconstructions, a dolphin show, special effects, restaurants and shops. This is a great opportunity for students to interact at this French theme park.

Theatre in Paris - French play with English subtitles

Take a step inside a traditional Parisian theatre and spend an evening amongst the locals, at a French play with English subtitles. In the heart of Paris, see a play from one of a variety of genres; enjoy a classic love story, a modern French comedy or some musical theatre, all without missing a single word! From September 2018 - June 2019 groups can see Chicago Le Musical at Theatre Mogador.

FlyView Paris

Imagine being able to fly — and experiencing Paris with a bird’s-eye view. FlyView is a unique experience in which visitors fly over Paris and its monuments in virtual reality, complete with real flight sensations. Fly high over the city’s rooftops to explore the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Seine and many other famous locations from a perspective you could only dream of... until now. You will see Paris from a totally unique perspective. Groups can also go behind the scenes in some of Paris' most famous historical buildings, and experience Notre-Dame before the destructive fire of 2019. 

Exploradome

The Exploradome is an interactive space for discovering science, technology and digital technology on the outskirts of Paris. Science is revealed in a fun, interactive and educational way through exhibitions and experiments.
