Geography Walking Tours

Your Field Studies Guide will tailor make a geography walking tour to suit your pupils key study requirements. They will lead and deliver educational content on a full or half day itinerary.

Titanic Museum

Visit the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience at this fascinating museum in Belfast. Students don’t just learn, they become enthralled by full scale replicas and visually stunning displays through nine interactive galleries.

W5 - Science Exhibition

An award-winning science and discovery centre at Odyssey in Belfast. A magical place with exhibitions and workshops that place learning in context and provide memorable learning experiences for students and great ideas for teachers.

Stormont Parliament Buildings

The interior floor space of Stormont totals nearly 5 acres and the building stands at the end of a mile long driveway in 300 acres of parkland. Stormont is a public park and all visitors can enjoy the grounds and visit the Great Hall. Groups can visit the Parliament Buildings for a 2 hour presentation, activity and tour.

Guided Tours of Shankill & Falls Road

These recommended guided tours will take in the history of two of the most affected areas of Belfast throughout the troubles. Spend a half day visiting significant parts of the Falls Rd including the International Wall, Bobby Sands Mural, Clonard Monastery and Bombay street, where the troubles erupted in 1969. Also, take a half day tour, with your guide, of the Shankill Road and visit the Peace Wall, Spectrum Centre and Shankill Estate Murals.

The Ulster Museum

The museum has a permanent exhibition on “The Troubles” and holds and collects material evidence relating to the social, economic and political history of Ireland, with particular emphasis on Ulster from 1600 and Northern Ireland from 1921.
