Speakers for 2027 Media LIVE!

Sunil Singhvi

Sunil began his career as a producer at the BBC, working on a multitude of radio shows including Radio 1, BBC 3 and 1Xtra. During his time at UK’s Leading Talent Agency, James Grant talent, he revolutionised the way talent thought about Digital and Social Media. After leaving the talent agency, Sunil spent two years as Entertainment Lead for Twitter UK and then as Global Director of Music for Twitter US. Four years later, Sunil moved onto Instagram, filling the role of Northern European Partnerships Lead for the company.

Most recently, Sunil has acted as Chief Business Development Office at Rarible – one of the world’s leading NFT Platforms. It is here where Sunil manages the development of a global team of digital-first artists, building on Rarible’s marketplace and protocol. As a media and business growth expert, Sunil has had over a decade of experience in the entertainment and consumer-technology space and has spoken at numerous conferences globally including NFT.NYC.

Our complementary workbooks are designed to be used as your group enjoy the Disney® Parks. The workbooks contain park challenges which encourage students to take a step back and critically appraise the resort from their subject perspective. These park challenges provide opportunity for problem solving, decision making as well as working together so that your students get the maximum from the their time at Disneyland® Paris.

Our lively and interactive question and answer session gives the students control to ask the questions they want answers to. All the speakers take to the stage to answer questions to provide different perspectives and to offer invaluable career advice from their own experience.

Alysia Judge

Alysia is a journalist and filmmaker, specialising in how pop culture shapes society. One of the UK’s leading gaming experts, regularly working with broadcasters to illuminate or debate key issues in the space. Alysia has hosted for BAFTA at their Gaming Awards, and led live events for the likes of Nintendo, SEGA and IGN.

How do films and video games tell stories differently - and why does it matter? Alysia’s presentation will look at the unique strengths of each medium from cinematic language to player-driven narratives. Your students will be prompted to think about stories beyond plot, but also in terms of format and mechanics. Discover what great adaptations like ‘The Last of Us’ get right, who the audiences for these stories are, and the principles of great storytelling.
