Educational Talks and Workshops
There are a wide range of educational talks and workshops available from KS2 to KS5.
There are free resources available to download online which can be used to enhance your class visit. With 18 talks to choose from, subjects include; Mathematics for KS2 and KS3, Geography, History, Travel and Tourism, Business Studies, Design and Technology, The Science of Rollercoasters, ICT, Customer Service, Road Safety for KS1 and KS2 and Science and Citizenship: Snacks, Shelter and Safety for KS1 and KS2.
Your group can also enjoy an interactive workshop exploring the amazing wooden construction of Alton Towers' latest rollercoaster experience, ‘Wicker Man’, plus an immersive talk on the psychology of a ride experience unlike any other.
Explore the unique coverage of conflicts for those living in Britain and the Commonwealth during the First World War, right up to present day. Expand on what you’ve studied in class and visit The Picture Show; this permanent exhibition uses visuals to bring people lives during the war to life. The museum offers Learning Sessions for youth groups to enable students to deepen their understanding of the life changing situations thousands of Britons faced.

This national museum is dedicated to inspiring and educating visitors on the changes to industry from past to the present.
