By taking pupils on a History tour to Normandy, they will be able to see first hand one of the defining episodes of WWII – The D-Day Landings.

Here a vast allied armada delivering of 100,000’s soldiers to the shores of Normandy marked the opening of the ‘Western Front’ against Nazi Germany. Other key events of WWII that can be studied in this region are Operation Dynamo in Dunkirk, Hitler’s Atlantic Wall at the French/Belgian border and the many eapon sites.
